Hi all,
I thought it would be easier to answer some of your questions this way. First, Crystal, the magic show took place on our camping trip to Pio Pico in Jamul, CA. That is my last pending post for my blog. I bet your garden looks great! Congrats on school. Second, Gwen, that is Officer Acton - who took care of mine and Tori's emotional well-being during her little run-in with Juvi. LOL. But, seriously, he loves Tori to death and was there when we went to court and intervened when the other party failed to appear...he just took care of a lot of the details. He has been there for Tori since her Freshman year and since he is in Knoxville often, he has extended his support to us during her college career. I love the pool pics...can't wait to get home. There is a co-ed team out of Smyrna, but it's not organized very well.
Paul and I have decided to move from the house we are in into a condo up the road. We can save between $500-$600 dollars a month. It's like a resort and I can't wait. But, it is tiny. So, we are downsizing - having a big garage sale and then putting a lot of stuff into storage until we move. I should have my orders around the 30th of this month, which would put us transferring in about exactly a year from now.
Paul's last day of class is today. This summer he is taking two more classes and same for the Fall and Spring, which means he should have a double associates (Child Dev and Psych)in the Spring of 08! After we move home, he is going to pursue a BS in sports psychology - I think he will be perfect at it.
Next week, I begin working as a post grad assistant at SDSU, I can't wait - I am so bored. We are trying to get things in order for the move already, cause after that I only have one more tour before retirement. Since I found the house that I want to buy on our last visit, I am hoping to land a job at the VA in a few years, buy our house, when I retire, and never look back.
Well, that's about it. Oh yea, I haven't had a smoke in five days, I think I am over the worst of the cravings. Now, all I have to do is lose some of this weight - wish me luck - I am determined to be fit at forty!
