I cried my eyes out when Tori left for college...not because I was saying goodbye, but that she was. Of all my kids, Tori has had to say goodbye the most. She said goodbye to Louisiana when she was a toddler, to Texas when she was a preschooler, to San Diego when she was a teenager and to Tennessee as a young woman. The hardest decision I ever made as her mother was sending her back, thanks again to Angie and her family who allowed her to live with them her senior year, or this picture your viewing may have never been taken. Very few people understand the sacrifices that military families face every day. We have been blessed with my duty assignments, but that doesn't mean it's been easy for any of us. So, my heart goes out to my oldest, who, of all my children, has made the greatest sacrifices for my Naval career. She has served her country well and I wish her fair winds and following seas...
