What Fun!

So, we didn't get to celebrate my birthday until the 21st because of school and work and soccer and all. But, Paul did give me a new digital camera! Love it and it works with my easy share printer doc so I can print out pics all day. Wednesday, I rec'd a special package from the Purdues - a gorgeous Sophia Caperelli handbag! See picture in slide show, best purse I have ever owned. I also rec'd the cutest text message with a b-day song from Angie (and she sent me great card) and a call from my in-laws, singing their traditional Happy Birthday. When I got out of class, I had a message from Yanet. My oldest called me a few times...it was very sweet. Everyone was so great - Thanks! So, Friday morning I wake up (got to sleep in - I didn't know it, but Paul took the day off) and find a beautiful pumpkin diffuser on the counter and then I start finding little bottles of lotion and lip glosses from Bath and Body works hidden all over the house. My husband and my girls:)Then we are off and we wind up at Ocean Beach, where it all began, more than a dz years ago! We walk out on the rocks and on one side is Dog Beach and on the other is the pier and the surfers - very nice. Then we head to Fashion Valley Mall and stop in at Uno's for a class of bubbly...while we were shopping, we stopped by this art gallery that had the most beautiful disply of frogs. So, we were going to buy Stephanie one, since she collects them, unitl we were told that they start at 300 bucks! Sorry Steph:( But, there is a pic below. Next, we head to Carmel Mountain where we first lived and we go to the Irish Pub...this is where Paul proposed to me. I guess he was going to propose at Disney (where we had been that day with Klassic Kids, but, it didn't work out). This is your typical neighborhood pub, couldn't believe he took me there...Next, we go the Ted Nugents Fishgrille and meet Steve and Brenda for dinner - this, like the rest of the day, is a complete surprise to me. They give me the coolest basket with an Irish theme, I love it! After dinner, we head to Mission Valley, where Incahoots is, and watch some hometown dancing:) It was a wonderul day, Paul took us down memory lane and it was very special. The next day, I was going thru my Irish basket and found a four leaf clover, is that a good omen or what, guess the best is yet to come.
