We have some fun plans for this weekend...visiting with friends, wine tasting and a big soccer tournament! I am looking forward to it. I will be sure to post pics!
Yes, we are trying to find the ones we went to when I surprised him for his birthday over a decade ago. Mackenzie is playing soccer up there in Temecula...this is where we discovered the Almond Champagne.
We didn't get to do it...all of Mackenzies games were cancelled, but Rayna's wasnt', which puts us in RB at 1215 for a 1300 game...I am going to try and put together a trip for next Saturday. That way Rayna can baby sit. We were going to go today with some of the soccer parents between games - and it was funny Melissa our Manger, calls the Almond Champagne, the Oh My God Champagne. I will sending invites for those who would like to go - Saturday, Wine Tasting, Temecula!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Hang in there honey. It sounds like life is placing a lot on you right now. You are an amazing person..remember that.
just did a little catch up on ya ... i am so sorry about what happened on Wed. ... i will not pretend to understand, but know i am here and a very good listener ...hope your wine tasting was a fun day ... you are a good mother and good wife ... military life i am sure bring many emotional decisions for you all ... know that i am proud to have a SIL in the service ... all military personnel are HEROS in my mind.. i will pray for healing for your heart and mind ... i love ya and should tell you more often ...
Thanks Gwen...you have no idea what that means to me. It has been hard lately. Ever time we get comfortable, it's time to change. RMJ, thanks for the encouragement.. I love following your blog. We are getting ready to watch a family movie...it looks like Tornado weather (as Tina said) here in So Cal! Go figure.
For so long I was angry because you couldn't take care of me
I didn't want to hear about your private demons or struggles
And I never ever wanted to have to leave
For so long I despised your sickness and how it affected me
I didn't want to hear about your disappointments or hardships
And I never ever wanted to have to leave
For so long I ignored you and was only concerned about me
I didn't want to hear about your desires or dreams
And I never ever wanted to have to leave
For so long I held my forgivness close to me
I didn't want to hear about your explanations or reasons
And I never ever wanted to have to leave
I will have to live with my selfishness now for so long
The reasons and pain I didn't want to hear
Will now echo in my life for years and years
And the only excuse I have I will forever sing like a song That I never ever wanted to have to leave...
I Love You, Mom!

you know enough now that you don't just have to follow someone else's pattern. or keep repeating your own. you can break the pattern. improve it. perfect it. change the plan. adapt and improvise. make what works best for you. now your skills will take you wherever you want to go.
