My Girls and Me: Took a few more pics with my grandbaby, drove thru Houston and then made it to Louisiana

This was probably my best visit in years, thanks to my brother John Mark!

To My Mother:

For so long I was angry because you couldn't take care of me
I didn't want to hear about your private demons or struggles

For so long I despised your sickness and how it affected me
I didn't want to hear about your disappointments or hardships

For so long I held my forgivness close to me
I didn't want to hear about your explanations or reasons
And I never ever wanted to have to leave

I will have to live with my selfishness now for so long
The reasons and pain I didn't want to hear
Will now echo in my life for years and years
And the only excuse I have I will forever sing like a song

That I never ever wanted to have to leave...
