Dailens "Blue Baby"

This is Blue Baby on the left...the nice pretty clean pink baby on the right is one of many that we have bought over the past seven (almost) years to replace it - WHAT WERE WE THINKING? I remember when her Grandmommy held her when she was a few days hold and gave her blue baby (which Dailen named) as she rocked her...she has been part of our family ever sense.

BTW...this is the only role that the pink baby has...to keep Blue Baby company when Dailen is busy.

Dailen is almost back to herself and is feeling ALOT better...Blue Baby probably had a role in her recovery!

I have the teddy bear that Fred bought the day Zach was born... in my cedar chest... i confiscated it when he was about 8 or 9 - once it stopped being something he enjoyed everyday. It looks like Blue Baby... WELL LOVED!!!

How sweet.. oh how our children are spoiled....

Sam has "Tiny" a baby my mom gave her at her first Christmas when she was 11 months old... Tiny has had her fingers superglued back on several times... and her body has been "rebuilt" by Granny 4 times...
LOL

Tiny is terrible looking, like Blue Baby, and I am sure Teddy Bear! LOL

I am well familiar with Blue Baby. I have seen her time and again, cuddled in Dailen's arms. What I think is sweet is, a piece of Blue Baby's satin trim is coming loose, and Dailen rubs it against her cheek for comfort. Heartbreakingly sweet!

Jonathan had Pooh Bear with a musical honey pot, which is an absolute rag now, and lives on his bed. Ansley had Pink Bunny, which she lost on Halloween around 18 months, and now she has "Pooh B", which is a baby blanket Jonathan had in his crib. She latched onto that thing....it is gross now! It's 13 years old! I have to pry it from her and bleach it every few days! While she stands at the laundry room door and sobs. Ah, security.
